ABOUT 96NOTES
Who: Atlanta native
What: a personal collection of experiences, written out to help you learn from my wins and losses.
Hey y’all!
Welcome to 96notes! I started this blog as a as a way to share my share my personal experience of navigating life in the ‘real’l world.
After feeling like I had no control over my life in 2020, hello post-graduate, screwed-up world, I decided I was going to try something new.
Me and my two best friends in the entire world, decided we were going to give blogging a go. I mean, we basically do this already with our recommendations to each other, so why not put our experiences out there where it may help other people??
96notes is where I will share every day *adventures.* A few topics that may come up are:
- Gluten-free diet – I am gluten intolerant because of hyperthyroidism, love that for me
- Plant-based diet- trying it out to see if it will help the constant inflammation I have in my joints
- My fav restaurants & bars in Atlanta
- My fav experiences in Atlanta
- Fav places in Georgia
- Anything dog related- I have a lil’ brat of a pup who keeps me and everyone else around her on their toes
- Favorite books
- Favorite podcasts
- Skincare experiments, what worked for me and didn’t
- Curly/wavy hair experiments- I refuse to use heat on my hair often since it is so fine. This has left me with the attitude of “whatever my hair looks like is out of my control.” So follow along to see what works and doesn’t work for my hair with a mind of its own.
- Travel experiences
- Movies & TV Shows
- My thoughts on consuming media, how I balance staying up to date without sacrificing my mental heal
This is a HUGE FFT, thank you Brené Brown
I feel like I don’t fit in with the cute “blogging” crowd
I am terrible at makeup, I don’t spend a lot of time making my hair look perfect, I definitely don’t have the cutest outfits or keep up with the latest trends, my friends joke that I live under a rock because I don’t keep up with anything that doesn’t interest me.
